The Story of Houston

Once upon a time, a man named Jim Rich bought a beautiful mare named Smoki for his wife, Londa. She loved Smoki very much. On December 7th, 2005, God took Londa to be with Him. Smoki went to live at Old West Stables, where she was loved and cared for, just as Londa wanted. In January of 2007, Smoki and Jake had a handsome colt. Londa silently helped everything go well with the foaling. The colt's name became "For Love Of Londa", but everyone called him "Houston. Smoki was a very good mother and Houston grew strong and tall. He was very smart. He loved attention and was very friendly. One day Jim decided to take Smoki and Houston back home because he wanted to be with them so much. Now they are back in the barn that Jim built for Smoki. Londa looks down on them...and Jim, too, because she wants them to be safe and happy...and they are.
